Pi Squared launches the VSL Devnet, building a verifiable cross-chain settlement layer.

Web3 verifiable settlement protocol Pi Squared has officially launched its VSL development network, providing a verifiable execution framework for decentralized computing. The network has three core functions: Cross-Chain Interoperability: Enables secure cross-chain asset transfers through the integration of the Wormhole Native Token Transfer (NTT) framework; Blockchain Mirroring: Synchronizes the network states of Ethereum and Bitcoin, supporting multi-chain application development; Trusted AI Execution: Ensures the verifiability of AI agent computations based on Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology. Developers can leverage this platform to build blockchain, AI, and multi-chain applications that support cross-domain verification. Founder and CEO Grigore Rosu (University of Illinois professor, former NASA engineer) stated that the development network aims to address the current fragmentation and lack of trust in the blockchain ecosystem, providing programmable infrastructure for cross-chain interaction. The project team has also launched a strategic financing plan, having previously secured $12.50 million in seed funding.
