Lagrange Labs announced that it will launch its utility token LA after establishing an independent foundation and plans to conduct an airdrop. Lagrange Labs has developed the decentralized network Lagrange Prover Network based on the EigenLayer restaking protocol, used for generating zero-knowledge proofs. The LA token will be used to pay for proof generation fees and staking, as well as subsidize the cost of sub-networks verifying ZK proofs. The airdrop registration period is from May 28 to June 2, during which participants must complete the Turing Roulette game and pass uniqueness and human identity verification. The token economic model is based on "proof demand = token demand," where a portion of the fees paid for proof generation will be rewarded to network validators. The total supply of LA tokens is 1 billion, allocated to the community, early contributors, investors, the foundation, and the airdrop. After token issuance, the tokens of early contributors and investors will be locked for one year and then gradually unlocked over the following two years. Lagrange Labs has raised 17 million USD in funding, of which 13.20 million USD came from Peter Thiel's Founder Fund.
