According to TechFlow news on March 19, as reported by Citybiz, the decentralized enterprise-level data and identity protection company Via Science has completed a $28 million Series B funding round, led by Bosch Ventures, with participation from BMW i Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and Sentinel Global.
The funds will be used to accelerate the development of its high-security, easy-to-implement data and identity protection platform, which utilizes a decentralized, zero-trust architecture and has undergone rigorous testing by the U.S. Department of Defense. Via Science's technology features include decentralized identity management, end-to-end quantum-resistant encryption, and passwordless solutions, effectively addressing traditional cybersecurity challenges such as social engineering attacks and administrator attacks.
Colin Gounden, co-founder and CEO of Via Science, stated that the company’s platform is the world's first military-grade Web3 data protection platform, emphasizing the importance of securing data flows as software-defined vehicles, robotics, and edge devices become the norm.
