According to Foresight News and Cointelegraph, humanoid robot manufacturer Apptronik has completed an oversubscribed $403 million Series A funding round, with participation from ARK Invest, which has stated that it will provide Apptronik's usage rights to investors. This funding round adds an additional $53 million to the previously disclosed $350 million Series A round from February. The initial $350 million Series A funding was led by B Capital from California and Capital Factory from Texas, with participation from Google. Investors in the latest funding round include German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz, early-stage technology investor Japan Post Capital, the corporate venture capital division of Ryder System, RyderVentures, and a consortium led by Korean investment partner Korea Investment Partners.
