According to Foresight News, the high-performance memory infrastructure project Optimum has announced the completion of its Builders funding round. Angel investors include Abhijeet Mahagaonkar (CTO of Polychain), Arthur Cheong (Founder and CEO and CIO of DeFiance Capital), Gracy Chen (CEO of Bitget), Robinson Burkey (Co-founder and CBO of Wormhole), Sandeep Nailwal (Co-founder of Polygon), Sankha Banerjee (Chief Economist of Babylon), Saurabh Sharma (GP at Jump Crypto), Tal Tchwella (Product Lead at Solana), and Zaki Manian (Co-founder of Sommelier), as well as co-founders from Aethir, Aztec, Espresso, Magna, Pyth, Taiko, Zama, ZkCloud, and others. Optimum was co-founded by Muriel Médard, a professor at MIT and the inventor of RLNC (Random Linear Network Coding), which is a mature technology derived from 5G, IoT, and satellite communications, enhancing the scalability and efficiency of blockchains by introducing RLNC to global computing. Optimum will launch its private testnet in March.
