Lisbon-based early-stage venture capital firm Indico Capital Partners has raised €76 million and announced that the Bank of Portugal has increased its investment commitment to the Indico VC Fund II to €50 million. The fund is dedicated to supporting early-stage tech startups in global markets, with investment areas covering artificial intelligence, big data, enterprise SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, and Web3. Indico has invested €90 million in 49 companies, which have collectively raised over €1.90 billion from global investors. The Indico VC Fund II has completed 4 investments totaling €14.80 million.
