Hyperliquid, a new decentralized perpetual contract trading platform, has attracted market attention within a short time after launch. the price of its native token, hype, has soared 200% since its launch on november 29 at 15:30 utc. it only took 30 minutes for over $100 million in trading volume to flow into hype, despite it not being listed on any centralized exchanges yet.

at its launch, hype token was valued at around $3.3. the current price is $10.4. this growth can attributed to the strong community support. market participants believe the token was under-allocated and reacted with extreme enthusiasm.

as reported, in just a few days the amount of locked value on hyperliquid has increased to about $600 million from $1 million.

the upcoming pre-trading of hype on bitget, phemex, and huobi is also expected to drive up token prices further.
