ANICHESS Secures $1.8 Million in Funding Led by SFERMION and AMBER GROUP

ANICHESS, a chess strategy game supported by ANIMOCA BRANDS, has completed a $1.8 million funding round led by SFERMION and AMBER GROUP. Other participants include FENBUSHI CAPITAL, ASPEN DIGITAL, and SNZ CAPITAL. The funds will be used for game development, marketing activities, and team expansion. The game, developed in collaboration with CHESS.COM and five-time World Chess Champion MAGNUS CARLSEN, features PVE gameplay and is expected to launch its second phase with PVP gameplay in the first quarter of 2024.
