Coinbase Commerce Removes Support for Native Bitcoin and UTXO Tokens

Coinbase Commerce, the merchant payment platform of Coinbase, has removed support for native Bitcoin and other UTXO tokens. This decision was made due to difficulties encountered during the update of the EVM payment protocol for Bitcoin. The lack of smart contracts and stablecoins on the Bitcoin blockchain posed challenges in providing similar functionalities.
