On February 8, 2025, Dave shared on Twitter that he had bought JAILSTOOL tokens and expressed confidence in its future, stating that he wouldn't sell them immediately. As a result, the token’s market value skyrocketed to $150 million in just three hours.

Although JAILSTOOL wasn't created by Dave himself, his influence quickly propelled the coin to prominence in the cryptocurrency market. Dave continued to buy more tokens, driving up the price, and his reputation and ongoing support for the token suggest JAILSTOOL could potentially become his "official coin."
