What is the allocation & supply schedule for Magic Eden (ME) ?

The total supply of $ME tokens is 1 billion. The tokens will be distributed over a period of 4 years, ensuring a steady flow into the market and aiming to prevent sudden inflationary pressures.

The token allocation percentages are as follows:

Initial $ME Claim at TGE (Token Generation Event): At the TGE, 12.5% of the tokens will be distributed. This initial allocation is meant to reward users across the Bitcoin, Solana, and EVM ecosystems who are integral to the $ME DAO. This portion will be fully unlocked at TGE and distributed through Magic Eden’s mobile dApp. Any tokens left unclaimed from this initial distribution will be reallocated to $ME stakers as future rewards.
Community & Ecosystem: 37.7% of the total supply is dedicated to the community and ecosystem enhancement.

Active User Rewards: 22.5% of the total supply is reserved to reward the active users of ME protocols, primarily through Magic Eden’s rewards program.
Ecosystem Development: The remaining 15.2% is allocated for the development of the ecosystem, supporting advocates and creators who contribute to and promote the protocols. This includes a 5% allocation to the ME Foundation Treasury for additional protocol support and liquidity provision.

Contributors: 26.2% of the tokens are allocated to contractors, advisors, and Magic Eden employees. To emphasize long-term commitment, more than 60% of the tokens in the Contributor bucket will be locked for a minimum of 18 months post-TGE.
Strategic Participants: 23.6% is reserved for strategic participants who have provided essential guidance in developing the ME Foundation's protocols. This group will face a minimum lockup period of 12 months post-TGE, with tokens being released according to the Token Emissions Schedule.
