The Solana core development team has released a new proposal, SIMD-0286, to increase the computational limit per block from 60.00 million to 100.00 million compute units (CUs), an increase of 66%, aimed at further enhancing network throughput to meet the high-intensity application needs of DeFi, NFT minting, and DePIN. Previously, Solana had already increased the limit to 60.00 million on July 23 through SIMD-0256, with a daily transaction processing capacity of approximately 1,700 transactions per second.
