PayPal has announced the launch of its global payment platform, PayPal World, initially enabling interoperability between PayPal and Venmo, connecting its largest payment system and digital wallets on a single platform. PayPal states that it will allow users to make payments and transfers globally through local wallets, enhancing the accessibility and convenience of cross-border transactions, while also being compatible with AI agent payments, stablecoins, and new payment technologies.
