Amazon (AMZN.O) has acquired Bee, a startup that produces a $50 wearable AI assistant. Lourdes Zorro, co-founder of the San Francisco-based startup, announced the acquisition in a short post on LinkedIn. Bee developed a wristband that can record and transcribe the wearer's activities, using the information to generate to-do lists and summarize conversations. Amazon spokeswoman Alexandra Miller said that as part of the agreement, all of Bee's employees received an invitation to join Amazon. [Odaily News]
