The Southern District of New York prosecutors continue to press charges against Tornado Cash co-founder and developer Roman Storm, with the trial expected to last about a month. Assistant Prosecutor Thane Rehn said the prosecution expects to conclude its indictment of Storm by the end of next week, after which the Tornado Cash co-founder's lawyers will begin calling their own witnesses. Storm said he expects the trial to last "3-4 weeks" due to complex legal arguments and unforeseen witnesses and evidence. Given that the prosecution is expected to conclude its presentation by July 25, Storm's lawyers have revealed the defense strategies they will present in court. Before the trial began, Storm said he was unsure whether his legal team would allow him to testify in person to defend himself. (Cointelegraph) [Odaily Planet Daily News]
