Cactus Custody, a compliant digital asset custodian under the Matrixport Group, has announced a strategic partnership with the Batoshi Foundation. The Batoshi Foundation is an ecological supporter of TerpLayer, a $BTC native asset protocol, and the issuer and operator of beraBTC. Through this collaboration, Cactus Custody will provide institutional-grade secure custody services. The $BTC used by users to mint beraBTC on Berachain will be securely stored by Cactus Custody through custodial collaboration, ensuring that the funds are verifiable, traceable, and redeemable. It is reported that Cactus Custody has obtained SOC 1 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 international certifications audited by Deloitte, and ensures compliant and transparent asset custody through multi-signature, cold and hot wallet separation, and hardware security module (HSM) technology to meet institutional risk control needs.
