The Thai SEC Teams Up with Thai Banks to Launch Sandbox Project, Allowing Foreign Tourists to Exchange Digital Assets for Thai Baht

According to the Bangkok Post, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) is collaborating with Thai banks to launch a sandbox program that will allow foreign tourists to convert digital assets to Thai Baht for spending. This service will operate in a supervised controlled sandbox environment overseen by the SEC, the Bank of Thailand, the Anti-Money Laundering Office, and other regulatory agencies.
