SEC filings show that PayPal co-founder and Silicon Valley venture capital godfather Peter Thiel has acquired a 9.1% stake in BitMine Immersion Technologies. BitMine was originally a Bitcoin mining company, but has now transformed into an $ETH strategic reserve company. On July 14, the company disclosed that it held 163,142 $ETH, worth over $500 million.
