Here’s what’s new:

$Cookie Snaps Algorithm

→ Improved farmer detection: Our algorithm now does a better job identifying farming behavior and AI-generated content.

→ Improved spammer detection: We’re now more accurate at flagging timeline spammers.

→ Smaller & loyal creators will be recognized: Authentic users with clean, non-spammy timelines will now be recognized and rewarded with SNAPS, even if their engagement numbers are lower.

Mindshare Calculation

→ Wider engagement calculations: All types of engagements will count both smart engagements and standard engagements.

→ Weighted engagement: Every engagement will be scored differently depending on the engager and their posting/engagement behavior. This includes factors like their role (farmer, opinion leader, regular user, bot), how much they engage in general, and other key traits.

→ Loyalty algorithm update: Mindshare will better detect users who mention too many projects in a short time period.

→ Improved farming cabal detection: Better identification of farming and engagement circles reduces the influence of farming rings on mindshare scores.

→ Spam omission: Spam or excessive posts from a single user will be excluded from a project’s mindshare calculation.
