Payment solutions company Ripple has confirmed its intention to apply for a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license to expand into the EU market. A Ripple spokesperson stated that the company intends to comply with MiCA rules, as there are significant opportunities in the European market. Previously, it was reported that Ripple had applied for an electronic money institution license in Luxembourg, but the company declined to confirm or deny this news, stating only that it "currently has no updates to disclose."
