Another week has passed and we have a new update. We’re currently at the stage where we’re starting to add new features to the SpaceCatch AR game and optimizing everything. These steps are important because during our marketing campaigns, we want to showcase the best possible product. It looks like the market is slowly waking up, which is also great news for the CATCH token.
▶️ SpaceCatch AR game updates
SC:AR: Added game version checking to ensure only the latest, updated app can access the server
SC:AR: Enabled the settings button during AR fight scanning to allow users to leave combat or switch to non-AR mode.
SC:AR: For invasion spaceships, added the linked invasion hub’s name in the pre-fight loadout screen
SC:AR: Added the name of the related hub in the info UI in combat
SC:AR: Updated the icon of the decoder item in game
SC:AR: Updated the camera permission request settings button in combat to open settings directly if camera permissions were initially denied
SC:AR: Updated Bag of Aliens to also show the correct skin color of the captured aliens
SC:AR: Fixed a bug where sometimes after Gotgaari’s scary face attack, the player is unable to attack with any weapons
SC:AR: Fixed a bug where visiting the same hub repeatedly after hub tutorial ends causes the game to get stuck
SC:AR: Fixed an exploit with Starter pack where restarting game at a certain point would allow the user to keep receiving the pack rewards on each restart
SC:AR: Fixed a bug where entering an invasion combat when only few seconds are remaining would make the game stuck
SC:AR: Fixed a bug where sometimes the hub timers would stop functioning when returning back to map from combat
SC:AR: Fixed a visual bug where the new catch earned from an invasion would override the previous value
SC:AR: Fixed a bug where there would be infinite loading on some hubs
SC:AR: Fixed a visual bug where all aliens to offload would be shown in a single row
SC:AR: Design updated behaviours and attacks for the Flasher alien
SC:AR: Design updates to the Paralyze effect
SC:AR: Refined the error handling notification list and the appearance of error messages
SC:AR: Task preparation for Hardcoded data shift to the Admin database (internal game improvement)

SC:C: Updated the backend to support tracking of emote duplicates
