How to further configure Boundless Prover on Mintair?

On Mintair, we provide advanced configurations for your Boundless Provers in a very simplified UI, so that you can customize your prover further without going into the code. This is going to be super helpful once the incentivized testnet begins, as the competition is going to be through the roof.

How do the provers get an order on the Boundless Network?

Boundless is a permissionless network; anyone can send proofs however they want, and provers prove them. Our provers also pick up orders from the network, and along with that, ahead of the testnet, we have been running our requestors to stress test the network and infra, as there weren't enough orders on the explorer. If you want to support the Boundless network, you can send orders too.

Why are we stress testing Boundless with our requestors?

Normally, since the last couple of weeks, what we have seen is there are ~10 orders in an hour, which makes it around 240 orders in a day, and there are 800 provers live on the network currently, so the chances of getting an order are very hard. Hence, we are stress testing so that every prover gets a chance to prove, test, and optimize.

Why are some of the orders getting slashed?

The slashing can happen due to various reasons. Here, particularly, we have been testing multiple RPCs which caused a few slashes. We have been testing out mainly to optimize for the best one ahead of the incentivized testnet.

This is all being done to stress test and better optimize provers ahead of the incentivized testnet. Once the incentivized testnet starts, it will be all up to the competition and manual configurations. We will be further stress testing the network with more orders tonight.

We hold more than 40% of the total provers currently live on the Boundless Network; hence, we are fully stress testing and optimizing the provers that are live.
