Aptos Ecosystem Guide, Part 2

Back in April, as anticipation for major token generation events (TGEs) within the Aptos ecosystem began to build, we published a report exploring some of the most promising projects in the ecosystem. Among them was Echo Protocol, which has since completed its TGE, secured a listing on Binance Alpha, and at one point surpassed a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $70 million marking a strong performance.

Yet many projects are still in their pre-TGE phase. Recently, Aptos Labs reignited market interest by launching Shelby, its own decentralized storage protocol, signaling a new initiative within the ecosystem.

A TGE represents more than just the issuance of a token. It acts as a structural trigger that can catalyze ecosystem wide activity driving user and capital inflow, increasing transaction volume, and raising network fees.

Indeed, on-chain data suggests this momentum has already begun. As of July 8, the daily DEX trading volume on Aptos reached approximately $250 million up 130% over the past three months. Daily transactions have also exceeded 4 million.
