On July 11 (UTC+8), Ethereum Foundation researcher Sophia Gold published an article proposing to launch L1 zkEVM within one year by executing proofs with multiple zkVMs and having validators verify them. The goal of this solution is to achieve "real-time proof," defined as: latency ≤ 10 seconds, 128-bit security, proof size ≤ 300KiB, feasible home verification, etc., to promote Ethereum as the world's largest ZK application platform.
