According to Cointelegraph, Uzbekistan's national payment system, HUMO, has announced the issuance of cryptocurrency tokens backed by government bonds through its subsidiary, HUMO Digital. The token has been registered in the Unified Electronic Register of Crypto Assets maintained by the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP) of Uzbekistan, and the collateral and safe custody of the token are supervised by the Asterium crypto custody institution.
