On July 10th, HashKey Chain announced the mainnet launch of the veHSK (vote-escrowed $HSK) governance mechanism, marking a phased leap in its community governance. veHSK is a non-transferable governance credential obtained by staking HSK. Users can participate in on-chain governance voting based on veHSK and enjoy ecological rights such as priority project participation and revenue distribution proposals.
The launched veHSK introduces a dual-track governance system, divided into two mechanisms: daily governance that does not consume veHSK and major governance that consumes some veHSK, to ensure a balance between governance activity and decision-making rigor. In the future, veHSK will be more widely used in key decision-making scenarios such as Grants distribution, ecological asset management, and RWA parameters, promoting the deep integration of governance and incentives.
HashKey Chain stated that veHSK is a link connecting long-term value participants and on-chain governance structures, which will lay a solid foundation for building a sustainable on-chain financial ecosystem centered on real users.
