The Hellenic Authority for Combating Money Laundering has executed its first cryptocurrency asset freeze order, seizing funds related to the $1.5 billion hack of the Bybit exchange in February. Greek authorities tracked the associated wallets to a local Greek trading platform using Chainalysis tools and froze the relevant assets. The Greek Minister of Economy and Finance stated that the action has helped victims recover approximately 10.000 million euros ($11.700 million). Currently, official Bybit data shows that approximately $72.000 million (5% of the stolen $ETH) has been frozen, with $870.000 million still missing. (CoinDesk)
