According to the latest sharing from Circle's Policy Director Patrick Hansen, 53 institutions have now obtained EU MiCA licenses, of which only 14 have been approved to issue stablecoins or electronic money tokens (EMTs). The list includes well-known platforms such as Circle, Robinhood, Coinbase, Kraken, and OKX, but Binance and Tether do not appear on the list. The European compliance war has officially entered a white-hot stage.
