On July 8, according to Coindesk, Eric Trump, the second son of Donald Trump, will deliver a speech at the BTC Asia conference held in Hong Kong this August, continuing the Trump family's active presence in the field of cryptocurrency conferences. Hong Kong is promoting a number of cryptocurrency-supporting legislations through its Legislative Council. Hong Kong launched local stablecoin legislation even before the United States passed the GENIUS Act.

Earlier this year, while speaking at the Consensus conference in Toronto, Eric Trump praised Bitcoin's liquidity, arguing that it is superior to real estate and calling it "digital gold."
