The Bitcoin DeFi protocol Threshold Network launches tBTC on the Sui network.

According to CoinDesk, the Bitcoin DeFi protocol Threshold Network has launched tBTC on the $Sui network. tBTC is an ERC-20 token backed 1:1 by Bitcoin to support BTCFi in the $Sui ecosystem. This integration allows users to mint tBTC on the $Sui network and is expected to add over $500 million of Bitcoin liquidity to the $Sui network.
