Turkish financial market regulators have taken decisive action, shutting down access to dozens of cryptocurrency platforms, including the large decentralized exchange PancakeSwap, in an effort to curb the country's rapidly growing digital asset market. In early July 2025, the Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced that it had blocked 46 websites that were providing unauthorized cryptocurrency-related services, citing violations of the Capital Markets Law. Prior reports indicated that Turkey's access ban on PancakeSwap was the first time sanctions had been imposed on a DEX. (finance feeds) [Odaily Planet Daily]
