Bybit will begin charging Indian users an 18% Goods and Services Tax starting tomorrow in accordance with regulations.

Bybit recently announced that, according to the Indian tax framework, virtual digital asset service providers are required to collect 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) from Indian residents, covering service fees and transaction fees. To meet this requirement, Bybit will levy GST on some services starting July 7, 2025. Users will be able to see the GST amount charged and the corresponding fees in their transaction history.
