We had a discussion with a few folks in the ecosystem before about whether Layer 1s should have a general referrer field for wallet providers. Curious what people think.

This can enable a few different use cases:
- True analytics on wallet usage
- Layer 1 incentives for wallets - there is limited initial monetization for new wallets, so they can be subsidized initially through a program like this
- App protocol level incentives - whichever wallet brings the most volume/TVL/transactions or active users depending on the KPI
- The referrer can contain more complex UTM-style info to provide frontend and even specific ads that users see.

The massive negative of this is more on-chain tracking, which reduces privacy.
