After 14 years of dormancy, an ancient whale that has awakened is suspected of transferring over 80,000 BTC to upgrade an old wallet, with no signs of selling off for the time being.

On-chain analysis platform Arkham stated that the ancient whale that previously transferred over 80,000 $BTC may have done so due to an address upgrade, migrating these Bitcoin from the original old wallet to a native SegWit address, i.e., transferring addresses starting with "1-" to addresses starting with "bc1q-".
