The Monad Foundation will host Blitz hackathons in Hangzhou and Beijing on August 2nd and August 16th, respectively.

On July 2nd, the Monad Foundation announced that it will hold Blitz hackathon events in Hangzhou and Beijing on August 2nd and August 16th, respectively. The one-day event aims to provide a platform for in-depth exchange for developers, Web3 innovators, and technology enthusiasts. Through hands-on experience with the high-performance characteristics of the parallel EVM chain Monad, participants will jointly explore the development possibilities of innovative Web3 applications. This event will screen participants, focusing on technical background, development potential, and enthusiasm for Web3 infrastructure.

Event agenda:
Morning: Monad technical architecture analysis and development tool seminar;
Afternoon: Hackathon practice session, participants can build applications on the Monad Testnet individually or in teams (up to 3 people);
Evening: Project demonstration, live voting, and awards ceremony. The voting will be conducted jointly by officials and developers, and the Monad Foundation reserves the right of final interpretation of the rules.

Each Monad Blitz hackathon event will have a $2,000.00 prize pool: first place will receive $1,000.00; second place will receive $600.00; third place will receive $400.00.
