According to CoinDesk, funds have been transferred from 8 long-dormant Bitcoin wallets, involving a total of 80,000 BTC. These wallets had been inactive since 2011, when the Bitcoin price was less than $1.00. Two of the wallets each transferred 10,000 BTC, with each transfer worth approximately $1.1 billion at current prices. Blockchain analysis firm Arkham noted that these wallets may belong to the same entity.
