According to TechFlow on June 20th, Bitcoin.com News reported that Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Security has issued a notice seeking a software solution to track the locations and movements of various cryptocurrency projects nationwide, with a contract period of 36 months.
The software must be capable of analyzing transaction data across multiple blockchains including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Binance Smart Chain, Dash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Solana, Tron, Ripple, Polygon, and Avalanche. The system should have query capabilities based on parameters such as IP address, city, country, and crypto asset receiving addresses.
The project will begin accepting proposals on July 4th and is planned to be implemented in the federal capitals of 15 Brazilian states. The Brazilian government hopes to enhance its ability to combat cryptocurrency-related crimes through this tool. Over the past 12 months, Brazilian authorities have conducted four large-scale operations involving dozens of search warrants and arrests related to illegal cryptocurrency activities and money laundering.
