Consensys CEO and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin wrote in a post: "Ethereum Layer 1 will become the global main ledger. It allows anyone to view, use, and add data or features without permission, with credible neutrality and resistance to censorship.

It has features of tamper-proof and verifiable tampering (through penalty mechanisms and transparency) and continuously advances its own decentralization process. It has a top-notch large community that always remains highly alert, because there are always patient and well-resourced participants who try to disrupt the system. Fortunately, as Ethereum develops and matures, the difficulty of disrupting the system will increase."

Tamper resistant and tamper evident (via slashing and transparency).

Incessantly progressively decentralizing itself.

With a best-in-class giant community that is constantly hyper vigilant as there will always be patient, well resourced actors working to subvert the system. Fortunately this will get harder and harder as Ethereum grows and matures.
