Polygon co-founder establishes independent startup ZisK, aiming to develop open-source zkVM proof technology

According to ChainCatcher and The Block, Jordi Baylina, co-founder of Polygon, and the team behind Polygon zkEVM have transformed into an independent company named Zisk. All related code and IP have reportedly been transferred accordingly. According to Zisk's website, the project was incubated within Polygon Labs in May 2024 and officially became independent on June 13. Zisk will focus on low-latency, open-source zkVM proving technology.
