Coinbase's General Counsel Paul Grewal stated that Coinbase is seeking approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to offer its customers "tokenized stocks." Tokenized stocks are expected to enable low-cost, around-the-clock trading and expand investment participation.
