Nevertheless, Meta continues to actively recruit, including CEO Mark Zuckerberg personally reaching out to researchers. Meanwhile, competition for talent in the AI industry is intensifying, with rising salary levels. Anthropic and Google's DeepMind lead in talent retention, while OpenAI is also striving to retain its top talent.
