New Member 🥳 We’re thrilled to welcome the @IOTA Foundation to the CryptoUK membership community!

As a leader in open-source distributed ledger technology (DLT), IOTA’s scalable, energy-efficient, and secure infrastructure supports a wide range of applications, from enterprise solutions to decentralised Web3 innovations, with a modular architecture and smart contract capabilities at its core. Since its founding in 2015, IOTA has been driving adoption across multiple sectors, including supply chains, digital identity, and public sector innovation. The Foundation’s global ecosystem spans Germany, Switzerland, and the UAE, where it established the first DLT foundation registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

In the UK, IOTA is already making significant strides, with its technology powering initiatives like the Trade Worldwide Information Network (TWIN), recently deployed in UK government-led border trials. TWIN streamlines cross-border trade by digitising key documents and ensuring secure, transparent data sharing. It has been pivotal in the Border Trade Demonstrator (BTD) trials, improving supply chain visibility and reducing border delays. Through its membership with CryptoUK, IOTA aims to build on this momentum, enhancing its presence in the UK market and ensuring that insights from TWIN help shape policy, drive industry dialogue, and accelerate blockchain adoption.
