MemeStrategy became the first Hong Kong-listed company holding Solana (@solana) and saw its stock price rise by approximately 29%

Hong Kong-listed technology investment company MemeStrategy announced that it has included Solana in its balance sheet and will long-term participate in its staking ecosystem to support network security and generate profits.
According to the announcement, MemeStrategy has purchased 2,440 $SOL at a price of approximately 2.9 million Hong Kong dollars (about $368,800) through the licensed crypto asset platform OSL Group, with an average transaction price of about $151.7.
Stimulated by this news, MemeStrategy (https://t.co/tnoG8neykw) saw its stock price rise by 28.5% on Monday to HK$2.57 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and further increased to HK$2.70 in Tuesday's early morning, with a latest market capitalization of HK$653 million (about $83.1 million).
MemeStrategy stated that the investment is highly consistent with its long-term strategy in AI, blockchain, verification technology, and other fields, and will add to the expansion of the Solana ecosystem, deeply participating in the construction of Web3 infrastructure. The board believes that Solana has strong potential in real asset tokenization and AI-driven solutions.
Furthermore, according to Bloomberg, citing Cantor Fitzgerald analysts' views, Solana's high-speed, low-cost network is very suitable for tokenized securities, and with the staking mechanism, Solana's financial company is expected to achieve faster per-share asset growth compared to BTC's financial company.
According to Bloomberg data, since April 16, Solana's financial companies Upexi and DeFi Development Corp have risen by 306% and 207% respectively, far exceeding the 19% increase in $SOL during the same period; $Sol Strategies also increased by 33%.
