Bybit has announced the launch of its first Solana-based decentralized exchange, Byreal, which is scheduled to go live on the testnet on June 30, with the mainnet release planned for the third quarter. Byreal combines the liquidity of centralized exchanges with the transparency of decentralized finance, utilizing RFQ and CLMM routing technologies to provide a low-slippage and manipulation-resistant trading experience. The platform will also introduce a smarter token issuance platform and curated yield vaults. Lily Liu, Chairperson of the Solana Foundation, stated that centralized and decentralized exchanges can develop synergistically to enrich asset and product offerings. Currently, decentralized exchange trading volume has grown significantly, with a total transaction volume of 405.30 billion USD in May. It is projected that by 2028, DEX trading volume will surpass that of centralized exchanges. To date, the total value locked (TVL) in DEXs is 20.70 billion USD, with Solana DEX TVL reaching 3.30 billion USD.
