BlockBeats news, on June 14, according to official announcements, Synthetix declared that it will gradually phase out its Layer 2 deployment on the Base network, refocus on the Ethereum mainnet, and deactivate Base trading and close the LP vault. This plan will be implemented in stages.

Synthetix stated that the decision to gradually withdraw its L2 deployment stems from ongoing infrastructure instability and liquidity fragmentation.
