US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase plans to list the popular meme coin $Fartcoin, the utility token $CAKE from decentralized exchange PancakeSwap, and the $SQD token from AI data network Subsquid. Trading will begin on Thursday at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (UTC 16:00), subject to liquidity conditions, supporting FARTCOIN-USD, CAKE-USD, and SQD-USD trading pairs. These tokens will be available on Coinbase's retail platform and Coinbase Exchange for institutional investors, covering supported jurisdictions. This year, altcoins other than Bitcoin have attracted more venture capital and investment inflows, and Binance has launched a dedicated altcoin spot liquidity program targeting small and medium market makers. PancakeSwap's $CAKE is priced at $2.49, $SQD at $0.27, and $Fartcoin on the Solana chain is priced at $1.41, up about 10% in the past 24 hours. $Fartcoin has a market capitalization of $1.40 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $351.30 million. $Fartcoin rose to fame in October 2024 due to promotion by the AI bot Truth Terminal, further decoupling from the overall crypto market in April with significant short-term gains. It is now the second largest meme coin after the official token of US President Trump.
