Welcome Xander Carpousis (Head of Americas), Luis Guilherme Marinho dos Santos Almeida (Software Engineer), and Mark Passando (Engineering Manager) 👋

These three bring deep experience across financial infrastructure, backend engineering, and cryptographic systems helping us scale Dfns across regions and support more institutions building securely onchain.

⭐ Xander brings over a decade of experience in capital markets, enterprise sales, and digital assets with leadership roles at Strike, Hoseki, Darktrace, and AB Bernstein.

At Dfns, he’ll lead go-to-market across the Americas, helping institutions adopt secure wallet infrastructure at scale.

⭐ Luis brings backend experience from Nash, EBANX, and Ericsson, where he worked on scalable systems for crypto, payments, and telecom.

With a background in financial engineering and a strong Rust foundation, he joins our engineering team to help build the next layer of secure infrastructure at Dfns.

⭐ Mark brings 15+ years of experience in backend systems and infrastructure, with leadership roles at Thirty Madison and MonetaGo.

He’ll lead Dfns’ on-prem deployment efforts, scale backend architecture, and help keep the platform reliable as we grow across regulated markets.
