According to ChainCatcher, the walletless Layer 1 blockchain $XION officially launched its flagship mobile development kit, Dave, today, opening Web3 access to over 18 million mobile developers and 5.80 billion mobile users worldwide.
Dave supports native iOS and Android platforms. Developers can achieve on-chain identity verification and interaction through a process similar to Google OAuth without integrating wallets or redirecting links, enabling blockchain to be "invisibly" integrated into mainstream apps. This innovation lowers the usage threshold for Web3 applications.
$XION founder Burnt Banksy stated, "The mobile sector has long been a blind spot for the crypto industry, yet it is the main entry point for most internet users. With Dave, developers will be able to create Web3 applications as intuitive as Web2, marking an important step toward our vision of Web3 adoption."
Meanwhile, $XION will launch a developer hackathon focused on mobile, encouraging developers to use Dave to build truly practical and user-friendly mobile applications. The competition will last 6-8 weeks and is open to all Web2 and Web3 developers.
