The Sonic airdrop will launch in June, with 25% released immediately and the remaining 75% unlocked linearly in NFT form.

According to Sonic Labs, the first season of the Sonic ($S) airdrop will be distributed in two phases: 25% of the allocation can be claimed immediately, and the remaining 75% will be unlocked linearly as tradable NFTs over a period of 270 days. Early claiming will trigger a burn mechanism.

The total airdrop amount is 190.500 million $S, incentivizing user, DeFi application, and gaming ecosystem participation. OpenBlock and Sentio will be used to optimize incentives and data tracking. Sanctioned regions such as the United States will be excluded from the airdrop.
