In the first quarter of 2025, despite the overall market downturn, $Sui continued to expand in DeFi, gaming, and infrastructure sectors. The average daily DEX trading volume reached 304.30 million USD, mainly driven by Cetus and Suilend. Lending, stablecoin, and cross-chain swap activities enhanced network usage. New games were launched in the consumer and gaming fields, the SuiPlay0X1 design was released, and $Sui infrastructure integrations were expanded, demonstrating growth beyond financial applications. The Walrus mainnet was launched, securing 140 million USD in funding to promote decentralized storage and new integrations. Institutional interest accelerated as Grayscale included $SUI, Libre provided access to tokenized funds, and Canary Capital submitted an application for a US ETF. Core infrastructure gained support from Phantom, Binance, RedStone, and Telegram wallets, while new RFPs, accelerators, and hackathons increased developer participation. Looking ahead, $Sui plans to expand US collaborations and technological integrations, focus on BTCfi to achieve Bitcoin programmability, invest in developer training and SuiHubs, and continue upgrading the network.
